Who I Support | Parent Counselling & Adult Counselling

Emotional support for parents and families

I offer counselling for adults, with a specialist focus on postnatal mental health and parent wellbeing. Whether you're navigating the early weeks of parenthood or you've been a parent for a while, if you're struggling, I can help.

I'm based in Dronfield, Sheffield and offer online sessions to parents and adults across the UK

I support parents with:

  • Postnatal and parental anxiety and depression
  • Birth trauma and difficult pregnancies
  • Emotional overwhelm and burnout
  • Identity changes after becoming a parent
  • Intrusive thoughts and constant worry
  • Relationship changes after having a baby
  • Navigating your relationship with your child as they grow and change
  • Loss of confidence and self-esteem
  • Childhood experiences and relationships coming to the surface
  • Past experiences and unresolved trauma

I also support adults with:

  • Anxiety and stress
  • Low mood and emotional exhaustion
  • Feeling stuck or lost
  • Life transitions and change
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Self-doubt and people-pleasing
  • Struggling with boundaries

Over time, counselling can help you:

  • Make sense of what you're feeling, especially when it's hard to name
  • Understand where some of those feelings might be coming from
  • Break patterns that keep showing up in your relationships or your thinking
  • Feel less alone with the messy, complicated parts of being human
  • Rebuild confidence in yourself and your instincts
  • Find ways to cope that actually fit your life, not someone else's version of it
